before we start investigating this case we first have to know what conclusions the warren commission reached . i wont go into evidence or anything like that here , this is just information only .

BEFORE THE WARREN COMMISSION :

even as early as the monday after jfks death , that is the day he was buried (and also the day lee harvey oswald was buried ) monday 25 november 1963 there was a desire by the establishment NOT TO ALLOW ANY INVESTIGATIONS . and indeed it seems an overwhelming need to tell the people OSWALD DID IT , HE ACTED ALONE , this despite the fact that the investigation proper had not even begun . and despite their not being any definitive PROOF that oswald was guilty of any crime .

ENTER NICHOLAS KATZENBACH :

Memorandum for Mr Moyers

It is important that all of the facts surrounding President Kennedy?s Assassination be made public in a way which will satisfy people in the United States and abroad that all the facts have been told and that a statement to this effect be made now.

The public must be satisfied that Oswald was the assassin; that he did not have confederates who are still at large; and that the evidence was such that he would have been convicted at trial.
Speculation about Oswald?s motivation ought to be cut off, and we should have some basis for rebutting thought that this was a Communist conspiracy or (as the Iron Curtain press is saying) a right?wing conspiracy to blame it on the Communists. Unfortunately the facts on Oswald seem about too pat ? too obvious (Marxist, Cuba, Russian wife, etc.). The Dallas police have put out statements on the Communist conspiracy theory, and it was they who were in charge when he was shot and thus silenced.
The matter has been handled thus far with neither dignity nor conviction. Facts have been mixed with rumour and speculation. We can scarcely let the world see us totally in the image of the Dallas police when our President is murdered.

I think this objective may be satisfied by making public as soon as possible a complete and thorough FBI report on Oswald and the assassination. This may run into the difficulty of pointing to inconsistencies between this report and statements by Dallas police officials. But the reputation of the Bureau is such that it may do the whole job.

The only other step would be the appointment of a Presidential Commission of unimpeachable personnel to review and examine the evidence and announce its conclusions. This has both advantages and disadvantages. It [sic] think it can await publication of the FBI report and public reaction to it here and abroad.

I think, however, that a statement that all the facts will be made public property in an orderly and responsible way should be made now. We need something to head off public speculation or Congressional hearings of the wrong sort.

    Nicholas deB. Katzenbach
    Deputy Attorney General

so as early as monday novemeber 25 just 3 days after jfks death and just one day after oswalds death katzenbach was saying WE MUST CONVINCE THE PUBLIC THAT OSWALD WAS GUILTY . further he was saying we need to cut off enquiries about the assassination OF THE WRONG SORT . the reputation of the FBI and mr hoover ALONE should be sufficient to make the people believe what they conclude .

katzenbach went on to say that a presidential commission made up of UNIMPEACHABLE people , this commission comprised gerald ford (future president) , earl warren , alan dulles (former cia director ) to name but 3 .

so katzenbach got his way , there were now NO INVESTIGATIONS OF THE WRONG SORT , just the sort the wanted .

THE FBI INVESTIGATION :

the fbi concluded that lee harvey oswald was guilty , that he alone fired 3 shots . shot 1 hitting jfk in the back , shot 2 hitting john connally in the back , shot 3 hitting jfk in the head . so 3 shots and 3 hits . but as we will see in later threads j edgar hoover had told RFK on the phone that he had his man at about 2.30pm the afternoon of the assassination . oswald had not long arrived at the police station and the police were still trying to ascertain who he was , but hoover it seems knew what the dallas police did not .

ENTER THE WARREN COMMISSION :

the warren commission IN THE END concluded that oswald was the killer , and that he acted alone ,that he was a lone angry nut who wanted to be someone . just as the fbi had concluded and just what katzenbach had said should be the case .

they said oswald fired 3 shots (just as the fbi did ) however the warren commission decided that oswald missed with one shot , they couldnt say for certain what shot had missed except that it had to be either the first or second shot because the head shot was the last shot . they concluded that one shot struck jfk in the neck , and that it passed through jfks body , exiting his throat just below the adams apple . then going on to strike connally in the back and causing him 5 seperate wounds . the final shot hitting jfk in the head .

they further concluded that oswald left the building via the front door about 3 minutes after the shooting , that he boarded a bus after that which got bogged down in traffic , he then left the bus and got a cab which took him back to his rooming house .

they concluded that he arrived home at about 1pm , grabbed a coat and a pistol and left . and that he was next seen on 10th and patton where he shot and killed officer tippit . officially then he left the scene of the crime and ran to jefferson where he made his way along and sneaked into a theater noticed by shoe salesman johnny brewer .brewer had ticket lady julia postal call the police . the police arrived and after a scuffle arrested oswald . on sunday morning november 24 jack ruby walked down the police station ramp , where he saw oswald , decided to pull a pistol and shoot him . oswald died shortly after at parkland hospital treated by some of the same staff that tried to save jfk .

that is in essence the official VERSIONS of the tragic events that weekend in dallas .

they say that every lie is about 80% to 90% truth , the further away from the truth the lie is the less believable that lie is . as we look at this case in further threads via testimony and statements and video and film etc the parts of this case that are far from proven or that are lies or where the truth has been concealed will be revealed .
let justice be done tho the heavens fall
