miss clemmons said she saw TWO MEN , one with a gun , the man with the gun waved to a second man across the street as if to usher him away . they ran off in seperate directions . officially there was just one man there LEE HARVEY OSWALD .

miss clemmons would not be the only witness whos statements indicated that two different men were there .

for example the description of the killers clothing in main was a light tan jacket , however atleast two witnesses said the killer had a dark/black jacket . these witnesses are frank wright and one of the davis girls .

helen markham was on the north side of 10th street at the junction of 10th and patton , she said the killer crossed the street from south 10th to north 10th and then made his way leftwards towards her , she said when he did this that (she didnt want to see him ) so she placed both hands over her face so that she couldnt see him . then she took her hands down bit apparently the man was still there just standing looking at her .then she said he took off again leftward passing by her and then she said he crossed back across the street from north 10th street to south 10th street and that he ran through a lot there .

that conflicts with 3 other witnesses , the two davis girls and ted calloway who have the killer on south 10th street , empty his pistol on the lawn and run back southward and emerging out of bushes and on to 10th street where ted calloway says he saw the man . calloway also gave a quite different clothing description to the description given by markham .

idfferent clothing described , one man with a dark/black jacket , frank wright watched  as officer tippit rolled over on the street having been shot by the man in black jacket who stood over him . oswald didnt even own a black jacket , and that day officially atleast he wore a light colored jacket . none of these problems was ever resolved by the warren commission , witnesses said it was oswald , the fact that atleast two saw oswalds picture prior to picking him from a line up wasnt a problem apparently .
